My wonderful sister in law is visiting, so we decided to do a pretty portrait for my brother to take with him on the ship when he’s out to sea.  Turns out, my brother is in port and made a surprise visit, so we got to snap a few pics of the both of them before he had to head back to work.  Michelle is a natural beauty who wears very minimal make-up…

I used a flat iron to give her soft waves.  I used minimal foundation and really focused on her eyes.  I used a deep brown eye liner on the top only followed by some individual lashes.

Love you guys!!!

So excited to post these pics!! Shannon got married in May at the St. Regis and looked fabulous!! Her photographer, Jessica Lewis, got so many great shots it was hard to just choose a few :) You can check out Jessica’s blog for all of the awesome details of the reception! It was really beautiful.

Getting ready…And really amazing shoes :)

Shannon wanted some drama on her eyes, so we went with black liner top and bottom.  On a blonde, this makes a big impact!  We did soft pinks on the cheeks and lips.  For her hair, she wanted a soft, tousled look with part of it pulled up.

The beautiful bride!!

Thank you, Shannon! It was a pleasure working with you! Best wishes for a long and happy marriage!

My beautiful baby sister Jessica (owner of Grace Cupcakes) needed hair and make-up for a project she was doing last week so I took the opportunity to take a few before and after photos for the blog :)

Jessica HATES having her picture taken, so I have taken it upon myself to make sure she is documented as part of our family…Plus, it’s fun to annoy her! What else are big sisters for? She will have to thank me later.

Jessica has REALLY long hair, so we made it full, with tousled waves.  Her eyes are amazing, so I enhanced them with strong black liner and lashes.  I used the airbrush to flawlessly apply her foundation.  Here is the result:

Before...a perfect canvas!

And after…

Not Jessica…Ha ha! Jessica had to hold baby Chloe so I could take her picture.  She was a good sport.

A sample of one of Jessica’s amazing cupcake creations from a recent baby shower.  The cupcakes matched the baby’s nursery PERFECTLY and baby’s mom was thrilled!!

Love ya, Jess!!
