Betty at Pelican Hill!

Friday, May 29th, 2009

Well, we did our first wedding at Pelican Hill and had a great time…they have a gorgeous salon-like bridal suite that we really enjoyed working in. The wedding was coordinated by the fabulous Michelle of Details, Details.

Betty has had some modeling experience, as you can tell from her photos, taken by Aaron Delesie. For her hair, Betty wanted volume on top, and a low chignon. Believe it or not, that is all of her own hair. Gorgeous! For make-up, she wanted a slightly smokey look with lashes. I am thrilled with the result!!

Wendy’s Wedding

Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

This post is LONG overdue.   Next Exit  posted Wendy’s photos a while back on their blog and with my computer issues, I was unable to share them with you.  Problem solved!!

Anyhow, I met Wendy when we did her friend Pam’s wedding the year before and Pam just so happened to be one of Wendy’s bridesmaids…love it! I was excited to meet Pam’s 5 month old son who was just adorable!

So, here are some fabulous photos done by “Cadi” (as Wendy calls them) from Next Exit.

Wendy opted for an all-down look for her hair, with really worked with her free-spirited, fun personality.  She had GORGEOUS skin, as you can tell, so her make-up was a dream to do.

Emily and Seth

Saturday, May 9th, 2009

Thank you to everyone for being patient with the lack of blog postings lately.  I have been having HUGE computer issues, which my loving husband and family solved for me by surprising me with a new Macbook Pro for Mother’s Day.  Amazing!! I am still in shock and feel so blessed.  Already, I can tell that my life is going to get easier…This thing is absolutely amazing!  Emily emailed me a while back to tell me that Dina (from Andrena Photography) posted her wedding pictures on her blog and I have been dying to share them.  It is always a pleasure to work with Dina…I always tell brides she has a true gift of making women look gorgeous in photos.  As always, I was thrilled to see the outcome.  Emily and Seth looked great, as did Emily’s bridesmaids.  Enjoy and have a blessed day!
