Orange County Hair and Make-up Artist_Portraits_Michelle

Tuesday, August 17th, 2010

My wonderful sister in law is visiting, so we decided to do a pretty portrait for my brother to take with him on the ship when he’s out to sea.  Turns out, my brother is in port and made a surprise visit, so we got to snap a few pics of the both of them before he had to head back to work.  Michelle is a natural beauty who wears very minimal make-up…

I used a flat iron to give her soft waves.  I used minimal foundation and really focused on her eyes.  I used a deep brown eye liner on the top only followed by some individual lashes.

Love you guys!!!

Los Angeles Hair and Make-up Artist/California Club/Kristina

Yay! I am so excited to share Kristina and Chris’ photos that were just posted on the Next Exit blog!! (P.S. If you want to see the venue and detail shots, please go to the Next Exit Blog :) )They got married at the California Club in Downtown LA.  It was a GORGEOUS venue and suited Kristina’s style perfectly.  Kristina wanted a little vintage flair, so to go with her amazing lace gown, we chose to give her soft curls pinned back with crystal pins.  Her make-up was fresh and natural and brought out her delicate features perfectly.  My girls Kali and Tessa were on board to help with the ‘maids!

Congratulations Kristina and Chris!!

Stacey’s Before and After

Wednesday, June 23rd, 2010

Stacey got married at the Surf and Sand in Laguna Beach in April.  She had some really great features to work with, including naturally curly hair (One of my favorite things!!) I even went out and bought a special curling iron just for Stacey and her sister and am so happy that I did.  Not only did it help me to perfect her natural curls, but I have used it tons of times already with other clients!!

Stacey wanted a fairly natural, fresh look with her make-up.  I just enhanced all of her great features, making sure to give her some individual eye lashes and a nice pop of color on her cheeks.

She wanted a low chignon that used her curl, so I used the smallest iron possible and finished it off with It’s a Ten Miracle Shine Spray.  She chose to have some fresh orchids tucked on one side.  Perfect for a beachside wedding!!

Congratulations, Stacey, and thank you so much for choosing On Location Beauty! It was an honor working with you :)

Got this sweet email today….

Hi Sherry,

Sorry for taking so long to write this email.  I wanted to thank you for the beautiful hair and make-up on my wedding day on February 20, 2010.  You are so great to work with and our pictures turned out soooo beautiful thanks to you.  Here’s the link for our photographer’s blog so you can see how the hair and make-up looked with the dress.  Thanks again for everything and I will definitely give you a call in the future.

Belinda

Belinda opted for a smoky eye and flushed cheeks.  I loved her look! For her hair, we did glamourous retro waves to show off her naturally long hair.  Congrats, Belinda!!

Before and Afters!

Sunday, May 9th, 2010

Through the years,  our brides have been gracious enough to allow me to photograph them both before and after hair and make-up.  They are all beautiful women before, so with hair and make-up, they are just glowing.  I will start featuring these great before and after shots on the blog so you future brides can get a better idea of what we do!

Kim was my New Years Eve 2009 bride.  She might just be one of the coolest brides ever..She is an officer in the Army and is trained to disarm bombs!! Watch out Jack Bauer!!  She is a beautiful blonde (Love!) and went for a beachy, yet glamourous look for her Long Beach wedding.  Congratulations, Kim and thank you for your service to this Country!!
